Even though April is about to end there is still lots of snow on the north of the Sierra Nevada as well as the south which can be seen for the Costa Tropical. Last weekend there was even more rain which fell as snow over the Sierra Nevada. This week there is a Spring promotion up in the Sierra Nevada (50% off lift tickets and special deals on ski classes as well as rental accommodation in the resort!)

If you’re go skiing with small children (3 and 5 years old) staying in a self catering appartment may be a better option. We prefer an appartment over a hotel when we travel with the family, basically because we can stay all together in a private atmosphere, this is a lot more complicated in a hotel (with small chiclren), because they may get “noisy” sometimes in the hotel lobby or lounge.
