Seville San Pablo Airport is situated about 7km (4 miles) east of the city, just off the A4 road to Cordoba. Passenger numbers to Seville have increased rapidly though during the past few years, mainly due to low-cost airlines such as Ryanair and Clickair. The airport code is SVQ.
Flights to Seville
Ryanair operates flights to Seville from London Stansted, Liverpool and Dublin. In addition, Spanish national carrier Iberia Airlines flies to Seville from Gatwick, Heathrow and several airports in Spain, while Iberia’s low-cost subsidiary, Clickair, flies to Seville from Amsterdam, Gatwick, Paris Orly, Rome Fiumicino, Barcelona and La Coruna.
Another budget airline, Vueling, operates flights to Seville from a host of European airports, including Amsterdam, Rome Fiumicino, Brussels, Paris CDG and Milan.
Transport from Seville Airport
Buses
Amarillos Tours run a bus service from outside the arrivals terminal to Puerta de Jerez in Seville city centre, via Santa Justa train station. The bus runs roughly every 30 minutes between 6.45am and 23.30 on weekdays, although less frequently at weekends and on holidays. A single ticket costs 2.40 euros.
Taxis
The taxi rank is situated outside the terminal. Journeys to the city centre should cost around 20 euros and take about 15 minutes, depending on the traffic.
