LA SANGRE DE RONDA WINE CELLAR

Elaboration of high-quality wines of origin in Ronda, Reds and Whites such as Matatoros and Espinel as well as our traditional wines.

Closely linked to La Sangre de Ronda wine cellars and from the deepest love to wine The Museum of Wine of Ronda has been created following faithfully our principles as a wine cellar. Our aim is to research and to spread the legacy that wine has generated over centuries.

MUSEUM OF WINE OF RONDA, CENTER OF INTERPRETATION OF WINE

We are located in the historical side of the town, in a palace-like house of more than a thousand years of history. The old wine cellar has been transformed into a marvellous museum of twelve thematic rooms that invite you to walk through the history and culture of wine, a product strongly present in society and associated to mythology and religion, and whose elaboration is a process of traditional works in the countryside and in the wine cellar.

SCHOOL OF WINE TASTE, WINE COURSES AND ENOLOGY

We offer courses for all levels to improve or to start to discover the secrets of the world of wine and a continuous and flexible timetable to join in whenever you want.

ROUTES: ENOTURISM AND ECOTURISM

Activities in vineyards and wine cellars in the countryside along the year where you could visit the vineyards in the countryside, the insides of the wine cellars, and see the elaboration process of our wines.

Prune a vineyard, collect and step the grapes, and bottle the wine are traditional works in which you can participate in company of your family or group.

There will be exciting experiences in the countryside.

ENOSHOP

<description>[...] Setenil de las Bodegas, With a population of some 3000 and lying between the towns of Ronda and Olvera in the province of Cadiz, this is another of Andalucia’s famous pueblo blanco. But where most tumble down from Moorish castles built on secure bluffs and peaks, Setenil has been set in and around a prehistoric limestone gorge, the foot of which is lined on both sides of the Rio Trejo with troglodytic cave dwellings. The usual warren of narrow streets radiates upwards from the focal points of Calles de las Cuevas del Sol and de las Cuevas de la Sombra named with unerring logic after the cave houses on the sunny and shady sides of the river. Most of the caves have, of course, been residentially developed with typical frontages, though plenty of them have been transformed, to the relief of tourists, into riverside cafes.
