Bus Service
An efficient bus service runs from just outside the arrivals hall to both Malaga city and Marbella centre. The Malaga bus runs every half an hour and costs approx. €1, and the Marbella bus runs every 45 minutes in summer and every 90 minutes in winter, and costs approx. €4.

Train Service
Many tourists take advantage of the cheap and easy train service which runs from just outside the airport terminal to Malaga city (east) and Torremolinos, Benalmadena and Fuengirola (west). Trains run from 5.54am-10.44pm to Fuengirola, and 7am-11.59pm to Malaga city. Running every 30 minutes in both directions, most journeys cost under €3 but may be increased on weekends and bank holidays. From the arrivals hall take the lift up to departures, walk outside and away from the terminal, keeping the parking area on your left. Turn right over the footbridge and make sure you have change to buy a ticket from the machine before boarding.

Taxi Service
Taxis can be easily located outside the arrivals hall, and passengers never have to wait long even in the busiest periods. Charges are made per kilometre, ranging from €1.30 to €2 per km, depending on the time of day, and whether you are travelling on a weekend or bank holiday. The cheaper times come under Band A, and the more expensive, under Band B. An additional €5 supplement is also charged for airport pick-ups and drop-offs.
