Magic Unlimited are an exciting act who present their show in a totally refreshing and unique fashion using a combination of youth, glamour, humour and music to delight their audience with an array of amazing tricks and stunts. The group comprises of 3 young entertainers, Oscar, Renzo and Mara whose boundless energy, enthusiasm and passion for their art is plain to see in their performance. The show is held in a luxurious 5 star hotel, the Hotel Casino Torquebrada in Benalmadena Costa which is positioned next to the seafront and is well worth exploring during intermission.
You will be given the option at the time of booking or upon collection of your tickets whether you wish to have a VIP seat for which a surcharge is applicable. These would only be recommended for the brave hearted amongst you as you can be sure that from this vantage point, the trio will attempt to lure you on stage at some point to assist them with their acts and do not take no for answer! But, for the kiddies who often love a chance to show off, this could be a definite bonus item of the night. However, a word of warning if you do decide to pay the extra money to upgrade because, on my own visit, we were invited to sit in the VIP seats which are located at the very front of the hall and therefore prime viewing, free of charge. No doubt this was purely a generous gesture on behalf of the management as the show was not sold out that particular night but as only 5 minutes earlier we were nearly charged the full price including the VIP charge, it could be considered a bit much. Just imagine if you had paid the full whack only to find out that your neighbours were there for free.
The stage is set and all that awaits is for the act to appear, giving you time to take in your surroundings. You will have been ushered to a table of your choice, complete with low lights and cosy chairs and will have had your drinks order taken by the attendant waiting staff. As it is a 5 star establishment, expect to pay 5 star prices for these. The auditorium feels more like a late night club than a traditional theatre and has a pleasantly plush feel to it.
The show begins with a series of flashing lights, the obligatory clouds of smoke billowing everywhere accompanied by up tempo music as the trio bounce on stage to perform their first act. Following this, introductions are made to the audience, first in Spanish and then in English as they explain who they are and what to expect of the evening. The performance then takes you on a wonderful journey as they explore new territory for magic tricks. The imagery, illusions and ingenuity that they employ should not fail to disappoint even the most cynical of audiences as you try to fathom exactly how they have achieved the impossible. Before you know it, the first half is over leaving you eager for more.
All in all, it is an evening of fantastic entertainment and is highly recommended as one for all the family. Details of forthcoming dates can be obtained on 0034 677 24 55 88 or check out their website on www.magicshow.es
