The legendary songstress and entertainer Liza Minnelli is on a worldwide tour for the whole of 2007 and will be performing at the Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella at 22.00 on Wednesday 8th August, 2007.

Tickets can be brought online from www.ticktackticket.com or purchased from several stores (details of which are contained on this website), but the nearest outlet to Marbella is the Fnac store at La Cañada. Seat prices range from €70 to €250.

Anyone who has seen Liza Minnelli in concert (and I was lucky enough to do so at the Royal Albert Hall in London a few years ago) will know that she is a dynamic, multi-talented performer. Her parents were the Oscar-winning director Vincente Minnelli and legendary Judy Garland, and she has forged a career which has encompassed stage, screen, television and cabaret.

Liza Minnelli made her first film appearance as a baby with her mother in 1948 in Easter Parade and went on to be featured as a child performer in her mother’s variety acts (notably as a dancing seven year old while Garland belted out Swanee at New York City’s Palace Theatre).

Liza Minnelli went on to establish herself as a charismatic and energetic singer in the early 1960s with her famous role of playing of the Emcee in Cabaret opposite Joel Gray winning her numerous awards.
