A Taxi from Airport to Marbella is the best option if you carry heavy suitcases. You´ll find lots of them at Malaga Airport. The airport taxis will take you anywhere along the Costa Del Sol and the rates are fixed and the current fares should be available in the taxi. The price of the trip Malaga Airport to Marbella is approximately 70 Euros, to Puerto Banus 75 Euros, or to Estepona 90 Euros.
If you want to hire a car during your holidays in marbella, there is a good selection of firms based at Malaga International Airport which is just 45 Km. from Marbella. The road from the Airport is called N-340, you should head towards Cadiz. When you approach Fuengirola, you have to choose between continuing on the N-340, and going on the ‘Costa del Sol’ toll motorway. Here you can find two beach bars and games for children which are provided free of charge.

Above Marbella you will find MEGABOWL AND SPORTS BAR , a fabulous centre located at the La Cañada shopping centre off the A - 7 Motorway. It is the biggest bowling and family entertainment centre on the coast and you will find something that appeals to the whole family including 22 State-of-the-art Tenpin bowling lanes, a sports bar, an American diner and much more. Whilst In Marbella you are ideally located to explore the whole of the Costa Del Sol and there are an abundance of great places you can take a day trip to including GIBRALTAR which can be reached by bus or car: There are 4 buses daily from Marbella to the town of La Linea de la Concepcion located right on the boarder and the journey takes about 80 minutes. If you take your car you have the option to drive right across or as a lot of people do park up and walk across.
If you fancy a complete change of scene you could try, during your holidays in marbella, a one day trip to Morocco which you can reach by traveling by car to Algeciras, about 70 km. from Marbella, and then crossing the Straits by ferry to Tangier or Ceuta or you could use the bus with services starting at 7am from Marbella and the last one leaving Algeciras at 10 pm The crossing itself takes approx 2hrs 30 mins so it can easily be done in a day.
