Offering a host of luxurious facilities, this place attracts a hip crowd who want to relax, sip cocktails by the beach, or unwind on the famous white beds and loungers by the sea. For real party animals, if you have the stamina, Nikki Beach is open during the summer from morning till very late, and the champagne flows until the early hours.

If golf is not for you, sports enthusiasts will also find plenty on offer in Marbella and Puerto Banus. If you visit in winter, the snow skiing resort of Sierra Nevada is only two hour´s drive from Marbella and Puerto Banus, and offers superb facilities to skiers and snowboarders. Marbella and Puerto Banus also offer lots of holiday fun for the children. Funny Beach is located just 1km East of Marbella Centre, and includes karting, trampolining, cable skiing, and a host of activities for all age groups from small children to teenagers. You can stay here in comfort all day as there is also a swimming pool and café on the complex. Free parking is available right outside. Selwo Animal Park offers another great day out, and is situated west of Marbella and Puerto Banus and close to Estepona. You can watch the animals wander free in a natural environment. If you want to stay more than a day, accommodation is available in African style family huts. Also very good cafe and entertainment facilities throughout the park.
If shopping is more your thing, Marbella and Puerto Banus offer some of the best shopping malls and exclusive designer shops in Spain. La Cañada is situated just above Marbella town, and can be reached easily by bus or taxi. Also includes a fabulous bowling complex upstairs and ample free parking. For smaller designer boutiques and exclusive fashion shops, Puerto Banus is unbeatable. Take a stroll round the marina or enjoy a walk round El Corte Inglés which is situated just near the N-340 at Puerto Banus and you will find everything you are looking for. Nueva Andalucia hosts its own street market only two minute´s walk from Puerto Banus, and you can buy anything from leather goods, Peruvian beads or even a feather duster from this unique craft market.
With over 320 days of sunshine a year, it is little wonder that holiday makers continue to flock to Marbella and Puerto Banus.
