The city of Granada will be the venue for a concert by one of the worlds most famous performers, Mark Knopfler . He will be holding a concert at the Plaza de Torros de Atarfe in the City on 5th of April 2008
The Plaza de Torros , {Bull Ring} more famous for the bull fights of the city is a wonderful setting for the concert which is already selling out fast.

Mark Knopler has been entertaining his fans since the 1960’s and is currently touring the world on the Kill To Get Crimson Tour which is the name of his latest best selling album

He was born in Glasgow in 1949 and has allways shown a great love of music. He formed is first band in 1967 called The Duolian String Pickers.with his friend Steve Phillips who he met while working a a reporter

He is best known for been a member of the world famous super group Dire Straits with whom he enjoyed global success since the 1970’s to the present day

Dire Straits have so far released 13 top sellings albums and Mark has himself released 8 solo albums. He has also provided the soundtracks of 7 movies.

The concert is set to be one of the best events of 2008 as Mark is well known for his entertaining shows and is not one to be missed . It begins at 22.00
