During the first week in September the Andalucia town of Ronda celebrates its annual Goyesque Fair. This is an event not to be missed if you enjoy Bull Fighting. During the event participants dress in the traditional 18th and 19th century costumes of the bull ring
Apart from the bull fights there are numourous parades around the town
and plenty to see and do if you dont fancy the fights them selves
On the first Saturday of the event there is the feature bull fight where the matadors and toreros dress in costumes which were immortalised in the paintings of the famous Goya
Before the Main event there is a parade though the streets of the town ending in the centre of the bull ring. You can see the beautiful horse drawn carriages and stunning costumes
