Following on from the festivals at the beginning of May in the historic City of Cordoba, the Month of celebrations culminates in the Cordoba Fair.

This year the fair runs from the 24^th May though to the 31^st May

The fair centers around the special fairground in El Arenal where you will see the stunning tents {casetas} set out in rows along the streets of the fairground. These casetas belong to the different associations and is where you can enjoy fine food, wine and great music

The whole event gives you a real feeling of the traditional Spain, The men were the Cordoban hats while many of the women can be seen wearing the beautiful peinetas (ornamental combs}

The stunning dresses worn by the woman are a sight to be seen and many of them can be seen wearing the traditional gypsy dresses and the men look splendid intheir Gypsy Clothing.

The festival marks the feast of Our Lady of la Salud (Health)

Also during the fair the Los Califas bullring in the city plays host to a number of important bullfights featuring the best known bullfighters of the day

Getting to the fair is very easy and there are a number of special busses running from all over the city to the fairground.
