I agree with Nick - we have had a place here for over 2 years now after visiting on & off over the previous 10 years. Calahonda has so much to offer, fromm ultra peace & quiet on my roof terrace to the hustle and bustle of the bars & restaurants at El Zoco and Cabopino. My favourite eating place is Miel y Nata, closely followed by the lovely Italian restaurant next door, and then Tamarindo at El Zoco, Alberts and also Tangerine at Cabopino Port.......never had a poor meal at any of them!

My only gripe so far is Whim newsagency. They have 4 branches now in the urbanisation and seem to specialise in recruiting the rudest and most unhelpful staff I've ever experienced. My most recent hassle with them is around trying to get the Daily Mail supplements delivered each weekend, which I have paid for via the UK service for Spain. The first Saturday was ok, but ever since no supplements and nobody can tell me where they go! All I get from the staff is maybe manana which of course never comes!

Apart from this, life in Calahonda is great!
