During September the people of Jerez de la Frontera show off their best products during the Autumn Fair The celebrations coincide with the grape harvest and the city is full of the events related to wine, flamenco music, Andalucian horses and gastronomy
The party starts with a grape treading demonstration and firework display and then for the next two weeks there are many free outdoor concerts and other fun events across the whole of Jerez
The Royal School of Equestrian Art hosts a fantastic gala and there are many great events for the whole family
Other events in the town include puppet shows, magic shows, theatre performances, bullfights and horseback parades.
The beautiful city of Jerez provides a wonderful setting for these festivities and everyone joins in the fun. The bars and restaurants of Jerez take part in the “Tapajerez” , a great competition to promote the city’s famous “tapas” (traditional Spanish snacks)
