New owners of Unión Deportiva Marbella, Ian Radford and Wayne Elliott, are promising an exciting new era for the club and its supporters, and plan to invest in the future by signing top players from England and other parts of Europe.
Ex-premiership player Carl Cort has recently signed for UD, which is proof of the new owner´s ambitions and plans for the future, and top English coach, David Pleat has also joined as Football Advisor.
Easily accessible from Marbella´s town centre, the stadium (Estadio Municipal de Marbella) is situated on the Avenida Ricardo Lucena Sola, on the Ojen Road between Marbella and La Cañada Commercial Centre.
Playing in league 2B of the Spanish league, which has four groups of 20 clubs each, the season runs from late August to May, and most of the league home games are played on Sunday afternoons at either 4.30 or 5pm. Cup games are usually played midweek in the evenings.

Getting there: From entering Marbella from the East, go under the ´Marbella Arch´ and continue past the car dealerships on the left and past the boats roundabout. Keep in the right hand lane and 1km further on take the Ojen road to the right. Follow the road up here and you will see the stadium on your right hand side. Alternatively from La Cañada Commercial Centre cross the bridge and at roundabout with Mcdonalds on the right carry straight on towards Marbella. Continue downhill and you will see the stadium on the left.
