Andalucia is famous around the world for its fascinating and wonderful flamenco dance and people travel from far and wide to enjoy this traditional form of dance

However in Spain the youth of today are bringing a new and fresh idea to Andalucia. The Hip Hop Culture

On the 5th of April the inland town of Alhaurin de la Torre in the province of Malaga plays host to an annual event which is known as the “Alhaurin Jam”
The event has now been running for two years and brings the four aspects of the new hip hop culture. Break-dance, Rap, Graffiti and DJ’ing

Often associated with trouble and violence the first two events have shown that the hip hop culture can integrate into everyday life

The precious years were well received and it is hoped that the next event will have the dame warm reception

The event is taking place with the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento de Alhaurin de la Torre and the Corresponsales Juveniles.. It brings together some of the best hip hop stars in Spain together for this wonderful event

The day begins with a fascinating Break-dance: Championship 3 VS 3, at the Casa de la Juventud,
12:00 h to 14:00 h Filters and eighths,

16:00 h to 18:00 h Quarterfinals, Semifinals and Final.

17:00h A 4 papeles
17:30 Danish
18:00 La Sombra Crew
18:30 Scratchmekanies
19:00 Rabasco Ft. Sine, Mivial, Dj Lefrank
19:30h Guillén y Escobar
20:00h Concert of RAPSUSKLEY And JHASTÁ.

Also at 17:00h, on the pista municipal de Skate, there is going to be a splendid exhibition of roller skating.
